The Suburban Pirate Orchestra first brought ska music to Bel Air in when it was founded in late 2005. Its first performance was planned as an elaborate joke, with over-the-top glam rock antics and a “merch before music” mentality. Since then, the band has become serious about ska, writing original music and building its empire across the hottest venues in Baltimore.
